At Trinity, choirs of adults and children enrich worship, provide outreach to the community and diocese, and participate in special services of music. Handbells and instrumentalists join a diverse, gifted group of singers for two sung services on Sundays at 9:00 and 11:15 AM. (The Adult Choir sings at one 10 a.m. service during the summer months).
The choral repertoire embraces anthems from the rich heritage of the Anglican tradition, including Elizabethan motets, spirituals, anthems written by contemporary composers, including Dan Locklair, John Rutter, Bob Chilcott, Philip Moore, and Morten Lauridsen; as well as movements drawn from major sacred choral works, including Handel’s Messiah, Mendelsohn’s Elijah, and the Lauridsen Lux Aeterna.
