As the members of Trinity parish seek to grow in faith and knowledge and to do Christ's work in the community and the world, they engage in both formal programs and individual quests. The staff, of course, plays a crucial role in programming, but lay members of the congregation also initiate and sustain programs. For several years, our Vestry has been organized in a commission structure, in which each Vestry member assumes a leadership role for a specific area of congregational life. It is convenient to discuss programming in some detail using that structure as an organizing device.
